The collection consists of 23 species belonging to ten genera. Three new species, Clivina octoconvexa sp.n., Parathlibops laevicollis sp.n., and Scapterus kuhlmanni sp.n. are described and illustrated. Nine species are newly recorded from Myanmar. In addition, a lectotype is designated for Scapterus crenatus (FABRICIUS, 1792) described from “India orientali”.

G. WEWALKA & J. HÁJEK: Notes on Hydroglyphus MOTSCHULSKY, 1853 from the Persian Gulf Region with description of a new species (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae), pp. 21−29Hydroglyphus haucki sp.n. (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae) is described from Pakistan (Balochistan) and Iran (Bushehr). Specimens from Iran have been previously identified H. sinuspersicus HÁJEK & WEWALKA, 2009 and are here assigned to the new species. The distribution of H. sinuspersicus is restricted to the northeastern Arabian Peninsula, and additional records of this species from Oman are presented. Hydroglyphus hormuzensis HÁJEK & BRANCUCCI, 2011, described from the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Iran, is here recorded from Pakistan (Balochistan) for the first time.

V. COSANDEY, M.A. JÄCH, Y. CHITTARO & A. SANCHEZ: Annotated checklist of the minute moss beetles of Switzerland (Coleoptera: Hydraenidae), pp. 31−56We present an annotated checklist of the Swiss Hydraenidae (Coleoptera), based on literature data as well as on more than 4,300 records taken from specimens held in various museums and private collections. In total, 39 species are regarded as being part of the Swiss fauna, while 13 species, which were either incorrectly or doubtfully identified by previous authors or possess doubtful Swiss locality data, are excluded from the national list. Hydraena dentipes GERMAR, 1842 is recorded from Switzerland for the first time.

Gy. MAKRANCZY: Anotylus oblongifer (LEA, 1931) and description of a related species from New Guinea (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Oxytelinae), pp. 65−74The poorly known Anotylus oblongifer (LEA, 1931) (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Oxytelinae) from New Guinea is redescribed and compared to A. thiemeae sp.n., described herein from New Guinea. These two species show a surprising relatedness to the A. cimicoides species group. Both species are illustrated by photographs of their habitus, and the genitalia and male terminalia are depicted by line drawings.

M.A. JÄCH & M. BROJER: Catalogue of Palearctic Elmidae, version 3 (Coleoptera: Dryopoidea: Elmidae), pp. 183−206An updated, third version of the Catalogue of Palearctic Elmidae (Coleoptera: Dryopoidea) is presented, following JÄCH et al. (2006) and JÄCH & KODADA (2016). Compared to JÄCH & KODADA (2016), 75 new names of the species group were added. Taking into account all nomenclatural acts (synonymies, resurrections, etc.) published since 2016, the Palearctic checklist currently includes 35 genera and 346 species/subspecies. It is emphasized that, for practical reasons, the demarcation between the Palearctic and the Oriental Region here follows national boundaries. As a consequence, this catalogue does also include a significant number of strictly Oriental species, as for instance those described from southeastern China. The name Zaitzevia fodingshanus JIANG & CHEN, 2025 is changed mandatorily to Z. fodingshana.

C. HERNANDO: A new species of Caccothryptus SHARP, 1902 from Vietnam, and presentation of an updated checklist of the genus (Coleoptera: Limnichidae: Limnichinae), pp. 207−214A new species of Caccothryptus SHARP, 1902 (Coleoptera: Limnichidae: Limnichinae) from Vietnam, C. parvus, is described. The species is characterized by a unique combination of external morphological and genital characters that do not correspond to any of the previously recognized species groups. A new species group, the C. parvus group, is therefore proposed to accommodate this species. Two species, C. schillhammeri HERNANDO & RIBERA, 2017 and C. thai HERNANDO & RIBERA, 2017, formerly assigned to the C. compactus species group by HERNANDO & RIBERA (2017), are here transferred to the C. testudo species group. Illustrations of the habitus and diagnostically important structures are presented. An updated checklist of the genus is also included.

M. KAHLEN & A. ECKELT: Die Käferfauna der Kranebitter und Völser Innauen (Tirol, Österreich) [The beetle fauna of the Kranebitter and Völser floodplains of the Inn River (Tyrol, Austria)] (Coleoptera), pp. 239−286The beetle fauna of the Kranebitter and Völser floodplains of the Inn River (Tyrol, Austria) (Coleoptera). In the years 2018 and 2019, the entomological working group of the Tirolean State Museum examined two protected areas respective their beetle fauna. This was done as a part of their main task, the federal state faunal documentation. The qualitative survey of the Inn River floodplains and floodplain forests of Kranebitten and Völs (west of Innsbruck, Tyrol, Austria), yielded 947 beetle species on 28 hectare biotope area. Generated results from the investigation area have been compared with historical data (before 1970) of the region. Although 87 species could not be detected any more, the study revealed 20 new species for the provincial fauna. Aside from the full species list, additional faunistic data on 46 notable as well as on the 87 missing species are provided.

M. KARNER & G. LIBERTI: A water-soluble mounting medium for entomology, pp. 305−311The suitability of Aquazol 50 (poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline), or PEOX) for mounting and embedding of entomological preparations, especially dissected insect genitalia, was tested by the authors. Aquazol resin is soluble in water and other hydrophilic solvents, chemically stable, non-volatile, and, upon drying, forms an optically clear, well-adherent resin suitable for card and slide mounts. Tests against other media under different ambient conditions confirm its favourable properties. Aquazol 50 is widely used in artwork conservation. Literature data, together with our own results, indicate very good long-term stability under typical storage conditions for insect collections. A second medium, composed of polyvinylpyrrolidone – vinyl acetate copolymer (PVP/VA 64) plasticised with polyethylene glycol 600, is also tested. It shows similarly favourable properties and may serve as an alternative.
