Since the appearance of volume 60 (1990) Austria's only scientific journal with exclusively coleopterological contents - the Koleopterologische Rundschau - Coleopterological Review - presents itself in a new layout. 

This journal has been published continuously since 1912. In 1990 it was revitalized by the Zoologisch-Botanische Gesellschaft and the Wiener Coleopterologenverein (WCV) (Vienna Coleopterists Society), two equally traditional scientific societies. Eventually, it was possible to increase the journal's quality greatly. 

The "Koleopterologische Rundschau" appears annually and contains approximately 300 pages of new contributions on taxonomy, phylogeny, zoogeography and faunistics of beetles. There are no geographic restrictions. Languages are English and German.
